Designed by Heena Glover, the reverse of the coin features the national flower of India, the lotus flower. This was chosen to represent Gandhi's strength. The text reads:
‘MY LIFE IS MY MESSAGE’ · Mahtma Gandhi
These beautiful gold coins are struck from 999.9 fine gold to a proof finish. Each coin comes in a wooden presentation box, along with a numbered certificate of authenticity from the Royal Mint. The coins have a limited edition presentation of just 175 coins and a mintage of 185 coins.
